Venezuela’s absolute location consists of 6-8° N, 65-67° W.

Its relative location is located on the northern edge of South America, bordered by Guyana, Brazil, Colombia and the southern waters of the Caribbean Sea.

In Venezuela, like other South American countries, there is a lack of education about environmental awareness. Sometimes this is a lack of communication between the science experts and society and sometimes it is a lack of effort by the governments to make laws and policies that protect the environment. Another similarity between Venezuela and other South American countries, is that their largest meal of the day is at lunch. Many people leave their jobs and come home to gather as a family. But, Venezuela also does have its own unique differences. Venezuela has one of the world’s largest oil reserves. Despite this, there has been instability and extreme poverty in their country. There is so much fighting and violence in Venezuela that is almost looks like there is a civil war going on.
