The countries around Latvia share similar cultures to each other. This could be because of the railroads that run through all of these countries, and also imports and exports between these countries.

Latvia fits into the region we are studying because its similar to the rest of the region. Its similar in weather patterns and landforms, and cultural things like language and traditions.
