The environment of Norway affects life in Norway. Climate has a huge impact on the people that live in Norway. Near the coast in the west and in the east normally have cool summers and temperate winters. More towards the center of Norway they have warm summers and they have winters that are cold and dry.

In the most northern part of Norway it usually cold and they have snowfall about 100 days each year. The fjords in Norway have a positive on life in Norway. The fjords are not only a unique feature to Norway’s landscape, but it also is a special attraction to visitors. Fjords were created thousands of years ago when the ocean flowed into glacial valleys and the water made deep cuts into the landscape. Overall Norway’s environment is pretty clean and there is not much problem with pollution as there might be in other countries in Europe.

The people in Norway have changed the environment in Norway. Today Norway has a pretty high standard of living. Although pollution is not a huge problem, there is still some pollution in Norway which is cause by the people that live there. One problem that Norway has with pollution is sewage pollution in the Oslo fjord and several inland waterways. Industrial pollution is also a problem caused by the people that live in Norway. Most of the industrial pollution  started after the Industrial Revolution.
