China’s top imports are Integrated Circuits worth about $128B, Crude Petroleum $116B, Gold worth$62.6B, Iron Ore about $58B and Cars that brings in about $44B. The top export destinations of China are the United States, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Germany. The ten exports of China are Electrical machinery, equipment: $557.1 billion (26.3%) of the total exports, Machinery including computers: $344.8 billion (16.3%), Furniture, bedding, lighting , signs, prefab buildings: $89.5 billion (4.2%), Knit or crochet clothing, accessories: $75 billion (3.5%), Clothing, accessories (not knit or crochet): $72.8 billion (3.4%)Optical, technical, medical apparatus: $67.9 billion (3.2%), Plastics, plastic articles: $64 billion (3%)Vehicles: $60.4 billion (2.9%), Articles of iron or steel: $53.1 billion (2.5%), Footwear: $47.8 billion (2.3%). About 600 000 foreigners are living in China and China had about 328 000 foreign students in 2012.
