Brunei imports about 4 billion dollars per year and exports about 6.5 billion dollars per year. Its top imports are Passenger and Cargo Ships, Cars, Planes, Helicopters, and/or Spacecraft, Refined Petroleum, and Gold. The top exports of Brunei are Petroleum Gas, Crude Petroleum, Acyclic Alcohols, Diamonds, and Planes, Helicopters, and/or Spacecraft. Its biggest import partners are Malaysia, Singapore, the U.S., and China. Its biggest export partners are Japan, South Korea, India, and Austraila.
The most common way for people to reach Brunei is by plane. Rail travel is exclusive and not available to the public, so to commute, people in Brunei and tourists rely on buses. The local bus system in Brunei is efficient, and fares are affordable. Getting around by car is the best if you own one but another method of transportation that is commonly used is by boats. Brunei has many big cities on the water and rivers that run through the country and many people transport by boat. Taxies aren’t as common as the U.S. but in big cities, you might find a few.

I find it interesting that they profit 2.5 billion dollars on importing and exporting alone!
