Norway is exactly at the points 60° N, and 8° E. Norway is relatively west of Sweden and Finland. Norway is similar to the other countries of the region because they all tend to have hills and mountains. But it is also different by how large the country is itself and how much smaller some of the other countries are. Norway fits into the region we are studying because we are studying the Mediterranean. (pictured below is a map of Norway, and the Mediterranean.)
